Please note that I NEVER take time to write a review. However, in today's world and the hardships that come along with everday REAL life. I want to share my experience with Lidia. For years I have been loyal to one specific car brand. However, times have gotten harder and when I was mostly in need the loyalty was not returned. This left me with no other choice but to shop outside of my normal. I ended up at Tenefly Honda by locating an old business card of a great person who once sold a car to me, who also provided a great experience at that time. Anyway, I googled his name and he had continued with his career at the Honda in Tenefly. I located a phone number for this person and called. Unfortunately, this man was no longer in the sales postion and I became discouraged. I shared what I was going through with the lady who answered the phone and she connected me to Lidia. Lidia has been a breath on fresh air, she remained calm through all my frustration and always assured me that it would work out. I am happy to say that not only did she meet me half way but she exceeded what I was looking for. Lidia is your way to go wherever she decides to continue her work journey. Shes like that buisness card you hold on to for years because you never know when you might need it. Times are really hard and there is no need for added stress. I bought a 2022 Honda CRV in june 2022.
I bought a 2022 Honda CRV in june 2022. The car has a factory defect that I complained about within a week of buying the car. The rear right side door makes a noise when I close it. I took the car to the service department and they pretended that there was not difference between the sound of the doors. Besides that, I explained them that the noise received inside the car when driving at high speed [55 miles or more] is to much for a brand new car. They put some grease and told me that they solved the problem but the sound never went away. To add more to my disappointment of this business, the two cortesy oil changes that I got when I bought the car, was not worthy, because the waiting time was over 3 hours each time I went for oil change. Every time I asked to talk to the manager they were "busy" or " on lunch".

All of the people we dealt with were friendly and helpful. We were there for quite a while and having drinks available was wonderful. The only thing I would change was the music that was playing!

Arnold and Ronnie went above and beyond for us to take home our new 2024 Honda Pilot Touring. The car is brand NEW but Arnold and Ronnie WENT EXTRA MILE WITH THE HIGHEST STANDARD OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. It was a smooth transaction with Ronnie, financial aspect was explained well. Arnold stayed late even after hours to provide important details and information about the car. Honda Tenafly is highly recommended. Now I understand why people from Jersey City and NYC goes here.

What can I say. Very knowledgeable. Very patient. Just very helpful in every aspect. Answered all my questions and then some. Happy with my purchase and the process leading up to it. The next day, I called her, set up a meeting & an hour later I was with Marco from sales & he has me sitting inside my new car explaining the various features of the 2024 CRV. 21 hours later, I drove the car home!

I saw a vehicle on their website that I was interested in. Pricing is not listed and directs you to call them. Their robots like any other car dealer led me to their Customer Care Rep. In this case Kelsey. I asked Kelsey what the price of the car was and was told that I need to come to their dealership and sit with a sales rep. I prodded Kelsey some more and told her/him, "I do not want to drive and waste my time if you cannot disclose the price.....is it MSRP or not?" Kelsey said it was MSRP. I also inquired if I can receive the full transaction price (OTD) in writing, Tenafly Honda would not provide that. However, I was provided with said information from other Honda dealers in their selling area. Oh and by the way when I asked if I could handle the sale of the car remotely, Kelsey told me they could not, and yet this is what I received via email from them below. It's also very important that we communicate with you in the best form possible. Would you prefer text messaging, Facetime, Skype, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, Google Hangouts, or LinkedIn? I took the risk and did not feel good going and when I arrived I was directed to their sales rep Nicholas by Kelsey. Nicholas was respectful and kind.... a good guy. I waited about 40-50 minutes while he spoke with his sales/finance team. He came back with an offer sheet and when my eyes started scanning I knew I was being taken. 2K markup...I get it but I also have received MSRP quotes and no markups from other dealers in their selling area. Window etching next... more ..fees and I just stopped looking. Drove away. I am an extremely positive person and rarely post negative feedback. This is warranted! So shameful, deceitful!

The worst dealership you will ever try to do business
The worst dealership you will ever try to do business with in purchasing a car! I called to inquire if they had any 2023 Civics on their lot and was told by saleswoman Lynn Gerber a truck had just arrived and she would check and call me back in 10 minutes. She called and said a blue civic was there now, so I told her I would be down there in an hour to purchase it. She told me to leave a deposit with my credit card so it couldn't be sold before I got there, which I did. Upon arriving at the dealership I met Lynn as she was leaving to show another customer a car but she pointed to the blue civic in the lot and said she would be with me shortly. I went over to the blue civic with my daughter to see it and noticed a sign inside the dash saying sold with my name on it. Lynn then came over and we went inside to her desk to finalize the deal. She then came back with a folder and said she had bad news that the car had been sold to someone else! I said how is that possible because you told me it had just arrived off the truck and to give you a deposit so it couldn't be sold an hour ago! She then took me in to see Michelle Pincay the General Sales Manager and was told by her that a mistake had been made but she would work to get another one and she would call me. She called me and said the owner Norman would work to get me a Civic just like the one that was offered to me to because he dealt with other Honda dealers. This never happened and then after repeated calls to Michelle Pincay and numerous voice mail messages left to her which never were responded to, I realized this is not a reputable dealership. So if you want to try and do business with a dealership that misleads, lies and won't respond to your messages then HONDA OF TENAFLY is for you! If you are looking for a trustworthy and reputable dealer try contacting Nasser of MAHWAH HONDA and he will work with you honestly and more then likely beat any other offer you receive by a Honda dealer in Bergen County NJ.

Worst people I have ever dealt with. Bugged me for weeks to bring in my vehicle, listed on internet service. Told me they'd up the offer, and then offered me $2k LESS when I spent 2 hours of my day going there. LIARS and creeps. These people are the reason people hate car dealers.

Horrendous
I had previously leased a brand new 2019 Honda Accord back in February. Now in July it has been nothing but issues. I have had the same problem for the entire month of my radio taking several minutes to turn on when the vehicle is turned on. I have ALREADY sent the car in TWO times for it to be fixed and after both times I was told the problem was resolved and that was not the case either time. I still have the problem nearly everyday of my radio not turning on. This is completely and utterly unacceptable. The service team who’s job is to fix issues like this and ensure me that any other problems I may have in the future will be taken care of has completely let me down. I will now have to send my car in for a THIRD time to attempt to fix this issue. I have been left without a car for a total of 4 days already because of this and not only that but I have had to use my own personal time to take 4 unpaid days off from work. Now I will have to be without my vehicle for more time and I will have to take more unpaid time off from work. This is my first time owning a Honda and dealing with Honda of Tenafly and this most certainly will be the last time I will ever do business with them. They have completely lost every bit of trust and loyalty I had put in the dealership. If I was able to return the car tomorrow and get out of this lease I would do it without a second thought.
